The Passaic Valley Water Commission is committed to providing our customers with high quality water and service. As part of our on-going improvement program, we will be installing 1,430 LF of 12-inch and 6-inch water main along Lexington Avenue between Main Avenue and Jackson Street.

Please be advised that this work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 and will be completed on or around Friday, November 20, 2020. The working hours will range from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

INCONVENINECE IS TEMPORARY – IMPROVEMENT IS PERMANENT

This effort will result in some unavoidable noise, disruption of service and discoloration to the water. Customers are cautioned to determine if the water is clear before washing clothes (or any other processing) as staining may occur. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will make every effort to minimize the disturbance and will work closely with local police and officials to reduce traffic problems.
