(Clifton, N.J. – December 6, 2023) – Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) is proud to announce that Senior Engineer Javier Hendricks will participate in the Transformative Water Leadership Academy, to which he was accepted last month. The academy, which considered approximately 150 applications, only accepts about one-third of applicants.
The Transformative Water Leadership Academy helps to build tomorrow’s water utility leaders by coaching and according to the program objectives, teaching them “how to integrate social, environmental and financial concerns into important decisions about water utilities.”
“We are very pleased that the Transformative Water Leadership Academy has recognized Javier for his hard work and dedication to the water industry,” said PVWC Executive Director Jim Mueller. “Acceptance into this program was an extremely competitive process nationwide with only 55 candidates admitted to the 10-month long regimen. We are fortunate to have him on our team and I’m sure he will excel in the program.”
The 14-session Academy will be held January 2024 through October 2024, including in-person workshops in February and March, in Atlanta, GA and Denver, CO, respectively.
