INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids for performing the Contract identified below will be received by the Passaic Valley Water Commission, at its offices located at 1525 Main Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey, on Thursday, November 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., local time, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read. No bids shall be received after the time designated in this Invitation to Bidders.

AUDITORIUM/PURIFICATION STAIR ENCLOSURE
AT THE PVWC LITTLE FALLS WATER TREATMENT PLANT
BOROUGH OF TOTOWA, NEW JERSEY
This Contract shall require removing a deteriorated existing exterior concrete stair and replacing it with a new custom steel stair. The building area around the new custom steel stair shall be enclosed with a new glass exterior curtain wall. In addition, the site around the new building enclosure will be updated with new ramps, stairs, sidewalks, and parking improvements.
Information and Instructions for Bidders, Specifications and other Contract Documents are available in electronic form by forwarding an e-mail request to lbresemann@pvwc.com. Each submission shall be provided on the standardized forms as supplied in the submission package and the said standardized forms shall not be modified or altered in any way.
Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. as supplemented and amended; Ownership Disclosure Notice (P.L. 1977, c 33) N.J.S.A. 52:24.1 and Affirmative Action Requirements. (P.L. 1975 c 127) N.J.S.A. 10:5-32 in addition to other applicable State Laws.
The Contractor shall submit any questions regarding the bid documents by Monday, October 30 at 3:00 P.M. to the project representative listed in the bid documents.
The successful bidder for the Contract shall be required to comply with the prevailing local minimum wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor.
Within the parameters established by the governing law, the Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive minor informalities or irregularities in the Proposals received and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
