Effect of Our Phosphate Treatment on Recent First-draw Lead Results in Our Main System (PWS NJ1605002)

This map shows the effect of our phosphate treatment on recent first-draw lead results in our main system (PWS NJ1605002).  These results are from our Lead and Copper Rule sampling for the most recent monitoring period (July 1 to December 31, 2016).  Each dot represents a “Tier 1” sampling location in our State-approved sampling pool. We can see from the map that lead results in the phosphate-treated region of our service area (roughly the area south of Crooks Avenue in Paterson) are noticeably lower than the results from the untreated area north of Crooks Avenue.  Data on this map are shown as Green (lower than 15 ppb lead) or Red (at 15 ppb lead or higher).
