2025 Annual Flushing Notice - Clifton

Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) will begin its annual hydrant flushing throughout Clifton, weather permitting, starting Monday, April 28, 2025. Flushing will take place between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm on weekdays (except holidays) and is anticipated to be completed by November.

During flushing, customers may experience temporary discoloration or low water pressure. After flushing, customers experiencing discoloration are encouraged to run their cold taps, at the home’s lowest level, until the water is clear.
