PASSAIC VALLEY WATER COMMISSION SEEKS CONTRACTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LEVINE WATER TANKS

(Paterson, N.J. – March 20, 2024) – Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) is inviting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of two (2) 2.5 MG (million gallons), prestressed concrete tanks, at Levine Reservoir located on Grand Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Contract 24-B-05 – Water Storage Improvements Phase 1 – Levine Water Tanks

The selected contractor will be responsible for the replacement of the existing Stanley M. Levine Reservoir with two (2) 2.5-million-gallon pre-stressed concrete storage tanks, two (2) stormwater detention basins at the north and south areas of the site, a chemical feed building, and various site improvements in the City of Paterson, Passaic County, NJ. 

Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference to learn more about the requirements and expectations of PVWC, which will be held in-person on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at the Little Falls Water Treatment Plant auditorium located at 800 Union Blvd., Totowa, New Jersey. PVWC representatives will be present to discuss the project.

Information and instructions for bidders, specifications, and other contract documents, are available in electronic form by forwarding an e-mail request to Purchasing Agent Lisa Bresemann at lbresemann@pvwc.com. Each submission shall be provided on the standardized forms as supplied in the submission package. These standardized forms shall not be modified or altered in any way. The contractor shall submit any questions regarding the bid documents by Tuesday April 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. to the project representative listed in the bid documents.

Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. as supplemented and amended; Mandatory Equal Opportunity as per N.J.A.C. 17:27-3.8 and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et. seq.; Ownership Disclosure Notice N.J.S.A. 52:25‑24.2 in addition to other applicable State Laws.
